Speedchess is a growing chess blog that aims to introduce the game to more people around the world. The blog publishes entertaining/educational chess-related content on Tik Tok, Instagram, and Facebook with more than 50K followers across social media.
Speedchess was founded in Belgium during the lockdown in 2020 by Issam Saed who is a digital marketing professional and a chess player. The blog had a slow start in the beginning but it got a huge hype of followers after the great success of the chess series (The Queen’s Gambit) on Netflix.
As ChessGuides and Speedchess share the same goals and values, they decided to share knowledge and resources to accelerate spreading chess awareness and teach the game to more people. Both sides will collaborate to improve brand image, social media performance, and digital marketing strategy that will lead to mutual prosperity.
ChessGuides and Speedchess create the perfect match as they compliment each other by targeting different audiences. CG is helping families and parents who would like to learn chess or receive tutoring for their children. SC on the other hand is attracting chess players, chess lovers, and chess beginners as individuals from different age groups. CG is about mentoring while SC is more about entertaining.
In a few words, CG and SC use different approaches to achieve the same objective and express their passion for chess.
